Jose is the Co-Founder of Innovative Investment Partners, LLC. His primary focus has been serving retirees and tech professionals, using wise financial strategies to help lower their taxes, and protect and grow their wealth.

Using a strategic wealth management process, Jose combines his knowledge in tax preparation  as an Enrolled Agent (EA) and his financial planning knowledge as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional as well as other key designations to provide interactive advanced financial planning strategies for his clients in the Bay Area.

Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) certification, which is the peak international, technical portfolio construction program for wealth management professionals. The CIMA® certification continues to be the highest level of advanced investment education for advisors.

Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee. The AIF® designation certifies that the recipient has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process.

The Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) Certification is an advanced credential created specifically for wealth managers who work with high-net-worth individuals, focusing on the life cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution. Candidates who earn the certification understand how to develop specific strategies to minimize taxes, monetize and protect assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth.

Jose is proud to have been recognized as a Founder’s Club advisor for 2022—a distinction based on annual production that places him among the top 35 percent of advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network.

Jose is becoming a passionate golfer and enjoys exercising especially CrossFit. He and his Fiancé Jackie both enjoy spending time with their families as well as traveling to new places. They are also proud and dedicated fur parents to Jelly an Australian cattle dog mix rescued from the San Francisco SPCA.
